40. Listen to Heart – Tags are Virtual……

I remember I had gone to see a movie. It was an old love triangle movie but the plot was something different. The movie was of Rajesh Khannaji our lovable ‘Kaka’ and the first super hero of the Indian Cinema who is no more with us physically but I am sure he is around us. I would once again like to pray to the All Mighty that ‘May his soul rest in peace’. The movie is so greatly made that I would like to congratulate the entire team for giving us such a beautiful movie. The movie was with all great cast. I request you to see the movie if you have not watched.

The movie was Kudrat which it means Nature in a simple language. The love triangle story was of Rajesh Khannaji, Vinod Khannaji and Hema Maliniji. It was directed by Chetan Anandji. The negative role was played by another great actor Raj Kumarji (who is also not with us but is always with us. ‘May the soul rest in peace’). The film had won ‘Filmfare’ award for the best story in 1981. The movie was about reincarnation.

The story of Kudrat is based in the city of Shimla where two lovers are born again. Mohan Kapur (Rajesh Khannaji) and Chandramukhi (Hema Maliniji) were separated in their earlier lives by the evil desires of Raaj Kumar. Chandramukhi visits Shimla with her parents for the first time. On her way she starts feeling some emotional attachment with this place. At Shimla they meet Dr. Naresh Gupta (Vinod Khannaji) and both the parents agrees for the marriage. Mohan is a lawyer. He visits Shimla to meet his patron Janak Singh (Raaj Kumarji) as it Mohan was all due to Janak Singh courtesy and generosity. Mohan gets ready to marry Janak’s sister Karuna as gratitude he wanted to show to Janak.

Once, Chandramukhi meets Mohan. She starts getting a feeling of some connections with him. Mohan meets Saraswati Devi who is an elderly singer. As Saraswati Devi sees Mohan she is shocked to see him but kept quiet. She is brother of Madhav who is supposed to be Mohan in this life. Chandramukhi acts strangely whenever she meets Mohan. She has the nightmares of a man named Madhav, who is Mohan's doppelganger, plummeting to death from a cliff. Naresh also smells something and agrees to help Mohan. In the previous life Mohan (Madhav) and Chandramukhi (Paro) loved each other. Paro was raped and murdered by a zamindar’s son. Madhav commits suicide after listening about Paro’s rape and murder. Paro had cursed him that just as he took away something precious to her, mother nature will take something important from him too. Meanwhile, Mohan seems to be losing the case, until he finds the mansion where Paro was purportedly murdered. He also traces Billi Ram, a senile old mason, who may hold a clue to Paro's disappearance. Billi Ram remembers that Janak had called him that day to patch up a wall in the mansion. Mohan comes to the mansion with police, who tear the wall down. A skeleton tumbles out in front of Karuna. Shocked by this revelation, Karuna goes to her home and sets it on fire. She sits inside, playing a piano and succumbs to the fire. After learning of his daughter's death and the new discovery, Janak realizes that Paro's curse has done its work. Later, Janak pleads guilty for his crime in the court and is sentenced accordingly. As he is escorted out, he and Chandramukhi see each other for a last time. After Chandramukhi and Mohan get united, Naresh heads to America.

There were two souls tagged as Madhav and Paro who were in love. The same two souls were there, which were tagged as Mohan and Chandramukhi who were in love. So the souls were there earlier as well as now and it would remain in future also only the Tags changes. The tags which we all carry are replaceable tags. The non - original are with different tags which keeps on changing but the original tag remains the same. The soul remains as original but the name, designation, cast, religion, country, etc. keeps on changing which is non – original. The names are the reel life but the soul is the real life. Tags are virtual…

Krishna says to Arjuna, “Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.”

We all know that Krishna is the maintainer of all living entities in all situations of action and its reactions of the work (Karma). He resides in everyone’s heart which can be felt by a saintly person from within. We need to work by listening to heart as it is voice of the Krishna. Krishna says that He Himself, Arjuna and all the kings who have assembled on the battlefield are eternally individual beings and Krishna is eternally the maintainer of the individual living entities both in their conditioned and in their liberated situations. Krishna is the supreme individual person and Arjuna is the Krishna’s eternal associate and all the kings assembled in the battlefield are individual eternal persons. It is not that they did not exist as individuals in the past, and it is not that they will not remain eternal persons. They existed in the past, and their individuality will continue in the future. Therefore, there is no cause for lamentation for anyone. Krishna affirms His individuality in the past and confirms His individuality in the future also. Krishna has maintained spiritual individuality all along and will do so also all along.
